SoJARS - Club Membership

Club Membership

 

SoJARS Membership is only $24.00 per year. The benefits of SoJARS membership are:

  1. Use of the club flying fields (during scheduled launches) allowing flights up to the FAA Class 1 rockets.
  2. Use of the club's launch equipment (during scheduled launches) which includes two control boxes capable of launching up to 10 rockets with the push of a single button, launch rods of various diameters and lengths, a launch rail, and safety equipment.
  3. A community of highly experienced rocket designers, builders, and flyers who can provide the advice and knowledge needed to help you accomplish any and all of your rocketry goals.
  4. FUN!

Membership dues are used for the costs of site rental fees (when applicable), portable restroom rentals during special events, equipment maintenance costs, and any other costs of general club operations.

First time members are only required to send a pro-rated membership fee based on the month they join. For example, if you are a first time member and join in July, then your membership dues for that year are only $12.00.
